Udubaddawa Nisala Nenasala is Using Finger (Mark)Print Technology First Time in Grass root Level

I am glad to offer my contribution to Udubaddawa Nisala Nenasala by introducing this finger mark (finger print) technology system to keep students information to make easy for us to hold exams and certificate awarding ceremonies.  I think this kind of technology is being used in first time in Srilanka at grass root level.  We could come up with this innovative technology especially because of the contribution, the commitment and the encouragement received from the staff, students and parents of our Nisala Nenasala.  I sincerely thank them all.

This software is done by Suranga Niroshan and Nilupul Dananjaya with the help of Saroj Jayasooriya using Visual Basic.  And we have to spent more time to buy to correct finger print reader machine which goes with our software.  Finally we were able to find out correct finger print reader from one of shops in Majestic City at Bambalapitiya.  And we can use either finger print reader or bar code reader for this task.

To date, only three months have passed by introducing to this finger mark system for students who study English language in Distance Learning Education Centres where situated at village level.  Students find it very interesting activity of keeping their finger mark to finger mark machine.  Although students live in villages now they are aware of this finger print technology and they are thinking about that. We have already done several interesting services projects including two major projects.  We saw the results, enjoyed the every expect of those, and also surprised how much we could do as a team.  Overall we are beginning to realize the potential, the strength and the spiritof telecentre operators or teachers on reality.  Currently we are known as an organized group, have built up a reputation and have established a good image, trust and reliance as a quality service provider.  So that, I truest we are in the correct path to reach the good objects of Nenasala Project while strategically supporting our community in many years to come.

Once again, I am grateful for our all who provided advices, assistance, facts and opinions to produce this innovative service of excellence.  I trust our committed team will continue to render their contribution to go this extra mile, ensuring and effectively reaching the practical aspects of service excellence to need communities in our area.

Meantime, I congratulate the colleagues, officers, parents, teachers and students of Udubaddawa Nisala Nenasala for their achievement so far.
